Eduarda …
‘I start by apologizing for breaking the first promise I made !?
In the beginning I promised you a story with a happy ending. ‘
But their story does not end like this …!?
‘But as the story unfolded, you have already realized that this story has no end …’
(The use of metaphors in many of our stories is noteworthy.
They are a powerful communication tool. They help us explain what we observe and feel, for they draw a parallel between the realities, bringing the new to the known and creating semantic connections between them.)
The love of Eduarda and Samuel could not be different: We compare it to a wave, always longing, always retreating back, with the tide.
Their day was a journey: sailing side by side, separated, moving forward … a line, to the other side, against the tide, in a sea that unites them more and more ‘You the ocean and I’ to the port of unity.
They wrote a message but it did not fit in a bottle: We could not read until the end, because it ended where the blue of the sea meets the blue of the sky.
We heard the crashing of the waves … [but the sea was calm !?]: 2 hearts !? A soundtrack !?
We look back, a slow dance … illuminated by the moon, accompanied by the stars … Eduarda & Samuel and us lost in that sea!
